WELCOME TO VOLUNTEERING AT AGE CONCERN ENFIELD
Thank you for your interest in volunteering at Age Concern Enfield!
The following information tells you a little about Age Concern Enfield and volunteering opportunities and the commitment, both for us and you in volunteering with our organisation.
A list follows of all the volunteering opportunities that Age Concern Enfield currently offers with a contact telephone number for each project manager. Please look through the list to see what appeals to you and telephone the project manager to find out more. Training may be offered to help you carry out agreed tasks. If you are still unsure which project to volunteer for please contact the Volunteers Manager on 0208 375 4103.
WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT FROM US
If you become a volunteer with Age Concern Enfield, we promise to help you maximise the benefit you get from being a volunteer by:
- Providing a role outline so you are clear as to what is expected of you
- Offering support and training relevant to your role. Click here for an example of a training session
- Giving you a Volunteer Handbook which sets out in detail what we can expect from each other
- Providing reasonable out-of-pocket expenses
WHAT WE CAN EXPECT FROM YOU
As one of our volunteers, we expect you to help us by:
- Ensuring you understand and abide by any guidelines associated with your project and the organisation
- Being reliable, as our service users depend on the services we provide
- Keeping information about service users confidential
- Being a good ambassador for Age Concern Enfield
